Chief Investment Officer & Co-Founder

Mr. Neu is a co-founder and the Chief Investment Officer of Pier Asset Management, where he oversees all investment activity of the firm. Mr. Neu has years of securities experience, specializing in volatility and events trading across Asia, and the marketplace lending industry in the U.S.. Prior to founding Pier, Mr. Neu has been managing the Evolution Income Funds at Evolution Capital Management as a Managing Director. Mr. Neu founded some of the first funds in the marketplace lending industry, purchased some of the first whole loans from the biggest platforms in the industry, and completed two of the first rated securitizations of marketplace lending securities. Joining Evolution at inception in 2002, he played an integral role in building out several of Evolution’s arbitrage, event driven and volatility strategies across global markets before founding Evolution’s marketplace lending strategy in 2012. He has completed the Series 65 examination. Mr. Neu graduated with a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University.
