WHAT WE DO

Pier Asset Management invests capital on behalf of its clients into debt deals in the specialty finance space.

The firm primarily issues senior secured credit facilities to lenders who use the capital to originate loans and purchases loan portfolios in the secondary market from stressed sellers. As a boutique asset manager, we invest where others don’t. Specifically, we focus on deals that are $1MM – $25MM in size.

Secondary Portfolios

Pier purchases loan portfolios in the secondary market from sellers, either from the originator or a downstream asset holder.   

Creative debt financing 

Pier will participate in other opportunities in the specialty finance space such as: 

  • Purchase loans at origination if compelling credit profile (forward flow agreements)

  • Participate in credit facility syndications

  • Participate in unique credit products originated by platforms
